Knowledge in the Arts

The publication series Knowledge in the Arts turns to the conditions, effects and critical potentials of a specifically artistic generation of knowledge. The arts do not only play a decisive role in the representation, legitimation and dissemination of forms of knowledge from other social and cultural fields, but they also produce their own forms of knowledge. This series of publications brings together contributions to this question from the fields of art and cultural studies, theater, film, music and media studies, philosophy, architectural theory and pedagogy.

The series is edited by Barbara Gronau and Kathrin Peters
