Atlas of Databodies
Technologies are increasingly involved in the interpretation of personal and external bodily states and do both represent as well as shape the body. The
Atlas of Databodies is intended to map the landscape of recent body concepts and technologies of their production. Practical projects from art, design, medicine and psychology are juxtaposed with theoretical reflections from cultural, visual and media studies. The atlas as a method thus contours the phenomenon of databodies across different disciplines.
