Charis Goer

Charis Goer (PhD), born 1971, is assistant professor for German Literature and Culture at Utrecht University, Netherlands. She is chair of the Popular Culture and Media section of the German Media Studies Association (GfM). Her focus areas in research and teaching are literature form the 18th century to the present, popular literature and culture, intermediality, interculturality and cultural transfer, and the didactics of literature.
