Sandra Folie (Dr. phil.), born in 1988, is an assistant professor at the department of comparative literature at Universität Wien. From 2016 to 2019, she was a DOC fellow of Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften and in 2020, she was awarded the prize of the Gender Studies Association Austria for her dissertation. Her research interests are contemporary women's writing, new world literatures, comparative imagology, and intersectionality.
